Guidelines For Admission

Admission form may be obtained from Anugrah Memorial Law college, Gaya office on payment of the prescribed fee including entrance test fee of Rs.500/-(Rupees five hundred )(General/OBC)and Rs.400/-( Rupees four hundred )(for SC/ST candidates) either as Bank draft issued by Central Bank of India in favour of the Professor In-Charge, A.M. Law College, Gaya payable at Gaya or in cash.
  • 01. ADMISSION FORM
    Admission Form duly supported by self-attested photocopies of the required documents must reach to:

    On or before the last date of submission of admission form either by the candidate in person or registered post accompanied with the documents as below.
    1.
    Self-attested copies of the Marks-sheet of the qualifying examinations.
    2.
    Self attested copy of the cast certificate, issued by the competent authority (DM/DC/SDO) or any other authorized officer in respect of reserved quota as per University rules.
    3.
    Three copies of passport size colour photograph must be pasted on the specified space of the admission form.
  • 02. SELECTION OF CANDIDATES FOR ADMISSION
    i)
    Selection of candidate shall be made strictly on the basis of performance in the entrance test.
    ii)
    The reservation policy of the State Govt./M.U. shall be followed.
    iii)
    No candidate may claim for admission as a matter of right.
    iv)
    Selected candidates will be informed about their admission through Newspapers/selection letter. Selection list will also be available on the college notice board.
    v)
    At the time of admission, the selected candidates will have to produce the original documents with prescribed fees for the course in one installment in the form of demand draft only. The demand draft must be issued by Central Bank of India only and drawn in favor of “Professor In-charge, A.M. Law College, Gaya” payable at Gaya.
    vi)
    vi) The University/college reserves the right to amend the schedule, rules, course structure and fee structure as and when necessary.
  • 03. ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
    Graduation degree or its equivalent from any recognized University of India in any subject with 45% marks.
  • 04. RESERVATION
    a)
    Seats shall be reserved for SC (16%), ST (01%), BC-I (18%), BC-II (12%) & BC Women (03%).
    b)
    5% seats shall be reserved for physically disabled candidates.
    c)
    Appearance in the test is mandatory. Reserved category candidates shall have to submit a copy of the certificate mentioning that the candidates belongs to particulars reserved category issued by an officer not below the rank of SDO/SDM.
  • 04. CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION
    I)
    Selection of candidates shall be made strictly as per rules of the University/college.
    II)
    In all admissions, reservation policy of the Govt. of Bihar (for educational institution) and University rules will be followed.
    III)
    On the day of counseling the candidate will have to produce all the original documents as mentioned above along with prescribed fee for the course in the form of D.D.. The demand draft should be issued from central Bank of India Only drawn in favour of “professor In-charge A.M. Law college, Gaya” payable at Gaya.
  • 05. ATTENDANCE
    Students are expected to attend the classes and other activities regularly. A student must complete 75% attendance in the classes. Otherwise he/she will not be permitted to appear in the final examination and shall not be eligible for scholarship.
  • 06. IDENTITY CARD
    All students admitted to the course of LL.B. will get Identity card on payment of prescribed fee of Rs.50/- which shall remain valid till completion of one part of the course.
  • 07. INSTRUCTIONS
    The application form is required to be filled in by the candidates in CAPITAL LETTERS (except signature) using ball pen in HIS/HER OWN HAND WRITING. Where information is required to be filled in boxes, write names in capital letters, leave one box blank between first and middle name and also between middle name and last name. Name, father`s name, Mother`s name and Date of Birth in the application form should exactly be same as mentioned in the High School/Class X certificate. Any discrepancy whenever detected, may lead to cancellation of your candidature.
  • 08. DURATION OF COURSE
    a)
    The duration of LL.B. course shall be of three academic session.
    b)
    b) The final examination leading to the award of the degree shall be held at the end of the academic session on the date notified by the University.
  • 09. REGISTRATION
    A student who is not already registered with Magadh University will have to get himself registered on payment of the requisite fees. The students who are not registered under Magadh University shall not appear in the examination.
  • 10. EXAMINATION
    To be admitted to the examination for the Degree of LL.B. a candidate must have :
    i)
    Completed the prescribed courses of study.
    ii)
    Registered under the University as a student (for other university student).
    iii)
    Completed 75% attendance of the classes held, otherwise he/she will not be permitted to appear at the examination.
    iv)
    The medium of examination for the course shall be English or Hindi.
    v)
    The examination shall be conducted by Magadh University which shall finalize the program for the examination and necessary examination fee.
  • 11. FEE STRUCTURE
    The academic fee covers admission, tuition, library, computer, magazine, water, electricity, student activities, college development and student welfare.

    Note:- In addition to the above charges candidates will have to fill in examination form, University Registration, Migration etc. and deposit the requisite fee for the same as and when required.
    A candidate is required to pay the course fees in one installment at the time of admission. All such charges are to be paid in the form of demand Draft drawn in favor of professor In-charge, A.M. Law College, Gaya payable at Gaya.
  • 12. MOOT COURT
    Moot court system is designed to give training in the preparation of briefs and in trial advocacy and exposure to counts under the guidance of teachers of the college.
